Saturday, August 2nd 1:00-5:00 – Stamford Church of Christ Labor Education and Hands-on Labor and Birth Support (with partner) with Kimberly Motill Kimberly will guide you through an informative presentation of what to expect during the 3 stages of labor. Including signs of labor, when to leave for the birthplace, managing pain and more. Couples will learn techniques to access a calm presence in preparation for pregnancy, labor and delivery.  Birth partners will learn simple, useful ways to support the physical and emotional needs of their birthing partner. ​Please wear comfortable clothes. Please bring a yoga mat and for each of you. I will have a few loaner mats if needed. Please also bring an exercise ball/birthing ball. Please inflate the ball so, that when you are sitting on the ball, your hips are higher than your knees. Sunday, August 3rd 1:00-5:00 pm – Stamford Church of Christ Formulating Your Birth Preferences and Baby Care Basics & Post Partum Recovery (with partner) – with Kimberly Motill  Kimberly will guide you in formulating a care plan for your labor and birth of your baby. You will learn strategies on how to make informed decisions and advocate for yourselves and your baby. This class will educate you on baby care topics, including breast & bottle feeding, changing, swaddling, bathing, and more. We will also discuss what to expect and how to prepare for postpartum recovery. You will leave feeling ready to care for yourself and your baby at home. Best for those who are due mid August-October $525 per couple, which includes both sessions.
